We are URGENTLY looking to recruit a Junior Web and Application Developer to join our team and contribute to the continued success and growth of the company by supporting the continued expansion of our lead client a forward thinking logistics company based in SE1 through continued innovative software development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced C#. Net Developer who can hit the ground running and contribute from day one.
Responsibilities:
During the day-today execution of your duties you will be required to:
Write quality source code which meets defined project standards and deadlines.
Contribute towards the creation of product design specifications.
Operate collaboratively, managing code via source control.
Test source code prior to handover to the client.
Perform maintenance on source code, analysing and fixing bugs where necessary.
Provide accurate progress updates in support of planning activities.
Provide technical assistance as necessary in support of our developed and implemented solutions.
Requirements:
Essential:
2+ years of demonstrable commercial experience developing ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET MVC based applications using MS Visual Studio with demonstrable in-depth knowledge of:
C# ASP.NET 4.5
Web Forms
WinForms
MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
jQuery/Javascript/Ajax
HTML/CSS/XML
Desirable:
Experience of working in the Logistics Industry
Experience of MVC
Knowledge of Windows Servers management, IIS configuration and Internet Networking principles
Qualifications:
A BSc / MSc in an IT related field of study
or
professional certification / evidence of training in systems development using . NET.
